It’s a phrase from the song “Sowing the seeds of love” by Tears for Fears.
And I’ve bought it up because I’ve been thinking about C02 and the average persons frustration with wanting to do *something* about it… yes, planting a tree is all well and good, but a lot of us don’t have the room, and trees also take so long to grow.
But sunflowers can grow really big, in just a few months, and have massive gas absorbing leaves and beautiful cheery flowers which remind us of the sun and it’s effect upon the Earth.
What if we all got together in early spring and planted as many sunflowers as we can?
In our garden, on the nature strip, on abandoned land… everywhere.
And suddenly had all this green, and all those beautiful flowers.
Is that a thought?
Wolfie!
Guerrilla gardening…I might actually do that with sunflowers–good idea.
